Great place for scouting
Nice camp with good facilities, including a new climbing tower. Good campsites, some nice hiking trails. Nothing is too far from the central facilities. Unfortunately, there is no summer scout camp there, but there is a great winter camp, spring camporee, and a couple of other camps throughout the year for scouts and cub scouts.

Getting better but still not easy to get around at with the power chair.
The ranger does a good job keeping things running but it's too big for one man to try to do without more Council funding and significantly more volunteer action. The lake is a real disappointment because of how nasty the water is - unfortunately, the grass-fed carp we stocked it with a couple years back weren't up to the task. Still, gripes aside, it's a decent campground with adequate facilities for both Pack and Troop campouts.
