My husband & I were very happy & pleased with our purchase of a 2017 Solitude 5th wheel by Grand Design on 8/12/17. Until we started having issues with it. Now we are actually vacationing in Panama City, Fl and have no AC in the Livingroom area. We wrere told that we couldn't even get reimbursed if we got someone here fix it. CAMPERS INN RV stated that it was not part of our warranty. Unless we have the extra warranty we got the extra warranty offered from the finance guy. ITS A GOOD THING THAT WE HAVE 2 AC UNITS & ITS NOT IN JULY OR AUGUST. Only our second trip in the RV, very disgusted. Also we were suppose to get a call back from them today, NEVER RECIEVED IT!!!!
We purchased a KZ RBT20 from this location in January of 2017. Overall we were happy enough with the experience to recommend the dealership to our daughter. In February and March, my daughter and her husband purchased the exact model. After camping one time, she noticed the camper was leaking at the side bed. She dropped the camper off at the dealership in May or June for repairs. It is now November...and the camper is still at the dealership. No one will give her or me a straight answer as to when the camper will be ready. Managers refuse to take my call, to return my calls and overall are avoiding us. So, when the corporate folks read this...don't state...call us and we can work with you. DO THIS...call the dealership...ask for the manager or Keith or Jody. They are well aware of the issues. This company will NEVER get a dime of my business again.
Dear Mr. Kelly, Our experience purchasing our new camper was mostly easy and pressure free. We really enjoyed Lane and the other guys who went over all the camper's features with us . They were very patience and helpful . But I have to let you know that Ben the finance guy was very rude to us after we declined the extended 5 year warranty . I explained to him we were not prepared to add 2 more years and more money to the finance terms we had already agreed upon. His attitude changed 180 degrees and made my husband and myself feel like leaving the camper on the lot and going home. JoAnn Josey
Just purchased a 2018 Grand Design 5th wheel , had a good experience until we met with the finiance person (Ben ) He became very rude with us because we declined the extended warranty ! Other than that everyone else was great . Really put a damper on our excitement of buying our camper.
Purchased a new advenger one month ago, have a leaking slide out, leaking sink, and a couch bed that won't pull out. Called this morning to get a service guy out to camp ground do to us living in the unit full time we were told we would have to speak to a manager on Monday! So we wait as water will continue to pour in and mold will start to grow around my four children. I will update when I know what they will do. So far we are disgusted! Let me add that the camp ground we are staying at is two exits down from their store , we aren't asking for them to travel!
We purchased our 5th wheel in August. Our sales person was Robin. He made the entire process very enjoyable. This was the second camper we have purchased from Campers Inn and the staff in Macon were great. We had an issue with our hitch and the parts manager Trye and Brian both worked with us and solved our problem quickly and professionally. My wife and I strongly recommend Campers Inn especially the Macon location and team.
