DO NOT GO TO THIS PARK AFTER DARK!
For ball games the park is nice, but don't come for the play ground. Also, don't come after dark.
Beautiful park partly shaded with pecan trees. Great paved walking trails Several ball fields and basketball and tennis courts. Playground for children and a splash area weather permitting

This was a great place to stop, eat a packed lunch, and stretch half way through our road trip.
Playground was well maintained.
We were traveling home from vacation and stopped at this park to let our daughter get the wiggles out. From other reviews I've seen, I'm assuming we were in the older part of the park. The playground was a disaster. Or daughter couldn't play on it safely. We left after we witnessed two drug deals.
